Welcome to Landheim Dog Training & Boarding
At Landheim, we are committed to providing professional, yet personalized service for all your dog related needs. For over 40 years, we have specialized in Training, Boarding and Grooming all breeds of dogs. We also offer the finest quality World Class German Shepherd puppies and trained adults.
We sincerely hope you will take some time to learn more about Landheim. We believe you will find that there is no better place to train, board & groom your furry family member. The facts speak for themselves! You will not find a trainer with more experience and as proven a track record as the staff at Landheim!
You have many so called trainers that have opened up shop offering services to the unknowing public. These people have very limited success with only a small group of clients. Their lack of experience is why people with less then perfect dogs get no results from these unproven trainers.
Only Landheim has worked for over 45 years with over 40,000 dogs of all breeds for all types of training. Landheim will put that experience to work for you and your dog! At Landheim we believe you should – ‘Expect the Best’ – Choose Landheim and you will not be disappointed.

Nicole has been with Landheim since 2014 and was promoted to Kennel Lead in 2019. She has true passion for working with animals. This passion leads her to excel in the care of our boarding animals as she has a knack for remembering many of the dogs and their individual needs when they come to stay with us. She upholds the Landheim mentality that every dog that comes to our facility should be treated as if they were our own, and she goes above and beyond to make sure all the boarders that stay with us feel as at home as they can.
Nicole has many dogs of her own including her long-time babies Candy (Pug) and Sassy (West Highland Terrier), and also has a cat named Mimi.
Tiffany joined our team in 2019 and quickly proved to be a valuable member of our kennel staff. Her compassion for the dogs shows in her diligent efforts to make sure every boarder gets treatment above and beyond customer expectations. Tiffany is highly observant and makes sure to take note of any changes to habits so we can provide the best care possible.
Tiffany enjoys the company of her cats, Rabbit and Touka.
Rafael, or Ralph as we call him, came to us for class in 2020 and shortly after joined our team. He began with us as a Kennel Attendant and quickly showed interest in learning to handle the variety of temperaments we see in our boarding dogs. He wanted to be sure that each dog that stays with us has the best experience possible.
After learning about dog behavior in class and through working in the kennels, he worked his way into training with our in-kennel training program. He was trained through our training program and has experience with a variety of dogs and temperaments. Ralph’s calm demeanor allows him to help ease dogs into our training program by providing a comfort and steadiness that helps dogs who may be stressed about being away from home. He has worked with a couple hundred dogs of a large variety of breeds and temperaments.
Ralph has a Rottweiller mix, Lee, and a Pacific Bull Dog, Moe, that he works with to hone his expanding skills as a trainer.
Sara joined our staff in early 2017 and brings her love of animals and training dogs to help our clients. Sara has trained hundreds of dogs and handlers and has worked with a vast array of breeds including but not limited to, German Shepherds, Cane Corsos, Labradors, Maltese, Yorkies, Huskies, Beagles, Pit bulls and all sorts of mixed breeds. She has experience in training a variety of disciplines using a variety of methods which of course include classical and operant conditioning and the Koehler method. Sara is also experienced with E-Collar training. Her experience includes teaching group classes for basic, intermediate, and advanced obedience. In 2019 she received her evaluator’s license through the AKC and now routinely performs testing for the Canine Good Citizen test (CGC). She has experience teaching protection dogs for sport work in IPO (Schutzhund) and police K9 work. Sara also conducts private lessons for behavioral issues.
Sara has a Labrador Retriever mix, Echo, that she is rarely seen without. Echo helps with training in classes and lessons as well as dog safety, where they travel to schools to teach kids about dog behavior and safety. Early in 2021 Echo received her Advanced Canine Good Citizen title (CGCA).

Front Desk Staff/Trainer
Zac came to us in 2020 with his personal dog and his enthusiasm stood out immediately. Shortly after he joined our team and that enthusiasm carried over to his work on our front desk team. He quickly became confident in his abilities to help our customers and provides a strong positive energy to the team.
Shortly after starting at the front desk he began to help with training in our classes and with the in-kennel training program. His positive and lively presence provides energy in the classes and helps boost confidence in our in-kennel training dogs. He was trained through our training program and is familiar with the variety of techniques we use to work with dogs that come to us, including operant conditioning and “clicker” training. He has worked with a couple hundred dogs and a large variety of breeds and temperaments.
Outside of work Zac enjoys coaching wrestling and working with his personal dogs, Dirks and Jade.
