TRAINING

Dogs can start training at the age of 8 weeks. The earlier you start, the better!

All dogs are trainable no matter how old they are.

Landheim will never turn a dog away.

You can always call to schedule a free evaluation of your dog to determine the best course of training for your pup, or call  our front desk staff who would be happy to help.

If you cannot make your lesson and call as late as the day of your lesson, we can reschedule your appointment without a  fee. If you do not call to reschedule or call after the lesson time, you will have forfeited your payment for that lesson, as a  trainer has been scheduled for that time slot.

In the event of injury or illness of a pet that is at our facility without the Pet Parent present, efforts will be made to contact  the Pet Parent; any medical attention deemed necessary by the Landheim staff will be acquired and payment will be  the responsibility of the Pet Parent. If the pet requires further care that cannot be provided by Landheim, the pet may be  transferred to the veterinary facility. Landheim reserves the right to use the veterinary facility of its choosing.

We welcome all dogs for boarding, either intacked or altered. We also allow all types of breeds and attitudes.

We are able to give oral medications to dogs. If your dog has a communicable disease like kennel cough, we will NOT be able to board them. If your dog needs monitored care or medication by needle, your best option of boarding would be  with a veterinary clinic.

We do have day boarding where you bring your dog in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. They will be in their own kennel run for the day. We do not have group dog play for any of our boarding accommodations. You can request walks, playtime or snuggles with one of our team members for an additional fee of $5.00/day.

Due to high demand, pets that fail to arrive for a scheduled grooming or boarding reservation more than two times over a 9-month period will be required to have a non-refundable deposit for future reservations. Boarding reservations will  require a deposit equal to 1/2 the scheduled stay. These deposits will be non-refundable but can be used to reschedule a service/stay with 72 hour notice. Less than 72-hour notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
