Ed came to us in 2019 with his personal dogs. Ed had just retired from his professional career and decided he wanted to pursue his long time hobby of training dogs as a second career. Over the years as a hobby trainer Ed self- educated himself in many dog training disciplines. Reading books and watching seminars from top trainers. Ed completed our Landheim Trainers Program to further perfect his training skills and has become very proficient working with all breeds of dogs.
Shortly after completing our Trainers Program, Ed began to help with training in our Group Classes and our In-Kennel training program. His positive and calm presence provides stress relief in the classes and helps boost confidence of dogs in our in-kennel training program. Ed is familiar with the variety of techniques we use to work with dogs that come to us, including Classical and Operant Conditioning, Clicker and Marker Training. Ed is also highly skilled with E-collar Training. He has trained hundreds of dogs from a large variety of breeds and temperaments.
Outside of work Ed enjoys loving life with his wife, kids, grandchildren and working with his personal dogs Tess, Riot and Tavvi.
